  The Peoria Journal Star (IL) May 27, 1995 KEWANEE -- Alice J. Petty, 61, of 507 W. Seventh St., Dixon, formerly of Kewanee, died at 2:45 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 1995, at Katherine Shaw Bethea Hospital in Dixon. Born Sept. 5, 1933, in Kewanee to Delbert and Annie Foltz Hamrick, she married Clifford Petty Sr. on July 27, 1949, in Kewanee. He survives. Also surviving are one son, Robert L. of Dixon; four daughters, Mrs. David (Janet) Jones, Mrs. Steven (Carolyn) Jones and Bobbi Petty, all of Dixon, and Mrs. Steven (Robin L.) Smith of Kewanee; four brothers, Charles Carter of Kewanee, Delbert Hamrick of Arizona, John Hamrick of Indiana and Clarence Byquest; one sister, Jean Ann Hamrick of East Moline; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Clifford Jr., in 1957; one brother; and three sisters.
