KEWANEE - Kenneth E. Petty, 79, of Kewanee died at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2005, at Kewanee Care.
Born June 2, 1926, in Kewanee to Forrest H. and Beulah Pierce Petty, he married Jane E. Jones on Oct. 27, 1960, in Princeton. She survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Shawn (and Debra) and Kenneth, both of Fort Myers, Fla., and Forest of Galva; four daughters, Pam Boswell of Kewanee, Maria Ivkovich of Chicago, Sara (and Daniel) Miller of Fort Myers and Michelle Petty of Galesburg; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gerald (and Linda) of Sandwich and Butch (and Nancy) of Kewanee; and one sister, Jenny Nadeau of Las Vegas.
He was preceded in death by three brothers; one sister; one daughter, Tina; and one grandson.
A World War II Army veteran, he served as a tank driver in the South Pacific. He was a member of the American Legion in Kewanee.
He was a machine fitter for Seal Master in Aurora.
He was of the Catholic faith.
