  The Star Press January 25, 2019 NOBLESVILLE - Marsha I. Jolliffe, 89, formerly of Muncie, passed away on Wednesday morning, January 23, 2019 at Harbour Manor Health and Living Community in Noblesville. She was born on December 13, 1929 in Indianapolis, the daughter of Edgar E. and Irene (Edwards) Hobbs and moved to LaPorte, where she graduated from LaPorte High School in 1947. She graduated from Ball State University with her Bachelor's Degree in 1952 and Master's Degree in 1958, both in Music. Marsha began her music teaching career at Modoc Indiana Union High School and several Muncie Elementary Schools before teaching at Delta Middle School for 21 years, retiring in June 1988. Marsha taught the flute at International Music Camp for over 18 years and also toured with their band for 4 years, traveling to several different countries. In June, 1988 she and her husband Richard moved to Morse Lake in Noblesville. She was a member of Friends Memorial Church, charter member of the Muncie Symphony, where she played the Cello for 50 years and the Sigma Alpha Iota Music Sorority. Marsha enjoyed traveling with her husband and camping. Surviving are one daughter, Victoria Lynn Horney (husband, Gordon) of Westfield; three grandchildren, Suzanne Lynn Stokell (husband, David) of Indianapolis, Nicole Diane DeGrave (husband, Ray) of Greenwood and Andrew Joseph Horney (wife, Katie) of Sheridan; eight great-grandchildren, Parker, Preston, Wesley, William, Ethan, Erik, Trent, Teagan, with a ninth one due in April. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 46 years, Richard L. Jolliffe on May 6, 1996; one son in infancy, Joseph Lee Jolliffe; and twin siblings, Glenn E. Hobbs and Rebecca Hobbs.
