  Evening News (San Jose, CA) February 25, 1893 Henry J. Haskell, formerly a well-known and highly esteemed citizen of San Jose, died recently at his ranch near Portland, Oregon. He was a brother of Dan Haskell, who was Under Sherriff with McDougal. The deceased was engaged in blacksmithing business in this city, the firm name being Porter and Haskell, till he sold out his property interest and removed to Oregon. He was a brother in law of J. A.
