  Casa Grande Dispatch (AZ) July 10, 2000 MARICOPA - Charles A. "Bud" Howell, 70, of Maricopa died July 3, 2000 in Casa Grande. Mr. Howell was born Nov. 15, 1929 in Harmony, Maine, to Austin and Violet Dow Howell. He served in the Army as a paratrooper during the Korean War and was a registered nurse before retirement. For the past 15 years he traveled full time in his recreational vehicle, and he spent the past three months in Arizona after coming from New York. He was president of a CB radio association. Survivors include his wife, Doris; four daughters, Ellen Howell of Solon, Maine, Cynthia Rogers of Phoenix, Charlene Ryogren of Malone, N.Y., and Dianne Sweet of Bangor, Maine; four sons, Darrell Fine of Coventry, Conn., David Howell of Peoria, Forrest Howell of Madison, Maine, and Timothy Howell of Maine; a sister, Cathy Green of Augusta, Maine; 17 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Donald Howell.
