(Howell) Swett, 65, of Bangor and North Anson, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. She was born on January 10, 1952, in Augusta to Charles A. and Phyllis E. (Haskell) Howell. Dianne graduated from Anson Academy. Dianne had a love for music and singing. She sang in a school group as well as the church choir. She was a firecracker with a zest for life. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and her dog, Maggie, was like a baby to her. Dianne is Predeceased by her husband, Ernest Swett; her father, Charles A. Howell; and her brother, Timothy C. "Doc" Howell. She is survived by her son, Robert Nelson of Warren; her mother, Phyllis Howell of North Anson; her brother, Peter Howell and his wife, Karen of Embden; her sister, Ellen Howell of North Anson; and her grandchildren, Emma and Benjamin Nelson.
