  The Santa Fe New Mexican (NM) October 20, 1996 Juliette Barney Justice died Friday, October 18, 1996, in her home in the presence of her son, Charles M. Justice, Jr. and daughter, Julie Anne Laruson. Born April 2, 1913, Juliette spent her life bringing her family and friends joy, optimism, and encouragement. Lighting up every room she entered. She captured the love and attention of all who knew her, especially that of Charles M. Justice, Sr. whom she was married to for 47 years, until he died February 26, 1981. Juliette sang and danced through life, living in each moment, fully appreciating each person, flower, bird, and sunset. We will all miss her terribly as we try to continue her enthusiasm for life with her joyful spirit. Along with her children, Chick, Jr. and daughter Julie Anne, Juliette is survived by grandchildren: Eric Charles Laruson of Truckee, CA, Dr. Kirsten Valentine of Nevada City, CA, Karen Livermore of Montrose, CO; her six great-grandchildren and a sister, Amelita Kelly of Broken Bow, NE. A member of PEO Chapter F of Santa Fe, D.A.R. Daughters of American Revolution, St. John's Episcopal Church of Ouray, CO, Women's Club of Ouray and Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority of Santa Fe and Albuquerque.
