Cundy, Clarence "Red" "Birdman" age 70, passed away Monday, December 17, 2001 at Shawano Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born May 3, 1931 in Neenah; son of Wayne Cundy and Dorothy LeBouton.
He married Doris Bloy on June 20, 1959 in Kaukauna. Clarence served in the U.S. Army from 1948 to 1950, participating in the Berlin Airlift. He retired from Badger Highways in Menasha after 35 years. He and Doris then moved to Shawano. Clarence enjoyed fishing. He was a member of the American Legion Elefson-Zueske Post #117 of Shawano. He was a former member of the Valley Pigeon Club of Oshkosh.
Survivors include his wife, Doris; a daughter, Louisa (Bryan) Menting, Darboy; three grandchildren: Nicole, Kathleen, and Michael; his mother, Dorothy LeBouton, Neenah; a brother, Richard (Patricia) Cundy, Florida; an aunt, Frances Ashley, Neenah; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Cundy; and stepfather, Julius LeBouton.
