  Havre Daily News (MT) March 12, 1946 Ole Larson, 32, World War II veteran, passed away at his father's farm fourmiles north of Havre shortly after midnight last night. The young man had been ill for several months with a heart condition. Survivors include Mr. Larson's widow; his father, Ole E. Larson; four brothers, Halmer, Orville, Richard and Robert all of Havre; and four sisters, Mrs. John Landskov, Mrs. Percy Dow, Mrs. Earl Bonderud and Miss Janet Larson, all of Havre. Mr. Larson was born in Havre, July 25, 1913, and was married to Miss Jean Harroun in April of 1943 at Havre. His mother passed away in 1940. Mr. Larson was a member of the Lutheran church. He entered the service at Fort Douglas, Utah, Dec. 13, 1941, and served as a staff sergeant in the air corps. He went overseas in January of 1944 and returned in September of 1944, serving in the Italian and North African campaigns. Mr. Larson was discharged Jan. 9, 1946, at Geiger Field, Idaho. He was a member of the VFW.
