  Worcester Telegram & Gazette (MA) October 3, 1990 NEW BEDFORD - Mildred A.R. (Miller) Howe, 74, of New Bedford, formerly of Millbury Avenue, Millbury, died Sept. 25 in St. Luke's Hospital. Her husband, William E. Howe, died in 1984. She leaves a brother, Irving R. Miller of Dartmouth; two sisters, Iantha Haskell and Joyce Viera, both of New Bedford; and nephews and nieces, including Grace Osborne of Shrewsbury and Carolyn Gilbertson of Lorida, Fla., who were raised by Mrs. Howe. She was born in New Bedford, a daughter of Byron H. and Florence (Weeks) Miller. She lived in Millbury many years before returning to New Bedford five years ago. Mrs. Howe was a member of Naomi Rebekah Lodge of Worcester.
