  Brownsville Herald January 1, 1960 Mrs. Paula Chase of Brownsville died early this morning at Mercy Hospital. She was 68. Mrs. Chase was a native of San Fernando, Tamps., Mexico. She had lived in Brownsville 55 years. Survivors include her husband, Carlton 'Jake' Chase; one daughter, Mary Alice in two sons, Raymundo and Charles Chase.
