Gibson of 49 Rose Street, Branford, and formerly of Manchester, died Thursday, November 16, 2006 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 22, 1918, daughter of Arthur E. and Jewel Hodom Manley. She was a graduate of Springfield Library School and prior to retirement was a librari an for many years at the Whiton Library in Manchester. She was a member of Center Congregational Church, Manchester. She leaves: a son, Attorney David A. Gibson and his wife, Donna, of Branford; a daughter, Elinor Coome and her husband Rick of Las Vegas, NV; two grandchildren, Matthew Gibson and Kathleen Gibson-Hanly; and five great grandchildren.
