TORRINGTON - Paul R. Glazier, 91, of East Hill Road, died Sunday, May 15, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. He was the widower of Marjorie N. (Lipe) Glazier.
Mr. Glazier was born May 15, 1914, in Worcester, Mass., son of the late Raymond A. and Anna S. (Kallstrom) Glazier. He was a longtime resident of the Torrington area, and a 1937 graduate of Worcester Polytechnical Institute. He worked for the Torrington Co. for more than 42 years, retiring in 1979, and was a member of the Torrington Club. He was past president and vice president of the Pewter Collector's Club of America, and was a volunteer at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital for more than 20 years. His hobbies included antique collecting and pewter.
He leaves two daughters, Claire Blair of Lubbock, Texas, and Laurie Cosway of Ellington; a grandchild and three great-grandchildren.
