LEOMINSTER - Kenneth W. Musgrove, 74, of 52 Grandview Ave., died Saturday evening, Feb. 18, in HealthAlliance Hospital/Leominster, after an illness.
He was born in Winchendon on March 3, 1931, the son of George and Edith (Jolimore) Musgrove and had lived in Leominster for over 50 years.
Mr. Musgrove was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran, having served for 13 months in Korea and then he trained the Cadets at the United States Military Academy at West Point.
He worked for 25 years at the First National Store, then was a salesman for Wachusett Potato Chip Company in Fitchburg for 24 years, and has driven school bus for the Laidlaw Bus Co. in Fitchburg for the past 12 years.
Mr. Musgrove was a member of the Pilgrim Congregational Church in Leominster. His family was the center of his life.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Constance (Goodale) Musgrove; four daughters, Karen M. (Musgrove) Colby of Leominster, Kristie (Musgrove) Marchetti of Leominster, Cindy P. (Pirro) Vargo and her husband Dr. Frank E. Vargo of Leominster, and Julie (Pirro) Drago of New Durham, N.H.; two sons, Toby M. Pirro of Bethesda, Md. and Thomas G. Musgrove of Framingham; three brothers, Ernest Musgrove of Leominster, Donald Musgrove of Lunenburg, and Robert Musgrove of Chelmsford; five grandchildren, Carolyn Cooley of Fitchburg, Craig Colby, Amanda Marchetti, Melissa Martin, and Erica Vargo, all of Leominster; and three great-grandchildren.
He had a sister, Sue Day, who predeceased him.
