Judith Longfellow Haskell went home to be with our Lord on Sept. 18, 2022, at 82 years old. She is survived by her husband, Barry Steven Haskell, and her three daughters, Elizabeth Donen (Drew), Vicki Williamson (Mike) and Meg (Markus).
Her grandchildren are Blake Donen (Kassandra), Ali Cicack (Charlie), Aubrey Donen, Drew Williamson (Tara), Steven Williamson (Kim), Ben Linder, Caroline Williamson, Skye and Jake Donen. Additionally, she is survived by her great-grandchildren Jaxon, Griffen, London, Finn and Callum. She was predeceased by her great-grandson Rowen Williamson.
As impossible as it is to sum up a person's life in three words, Judy's life was characterized by the love of family, friends and her faith.
She raised three delightful daughters who themselves have impacted the world for good. Camp Grammie and Papa was a favorite of her grandchildren and their parents, doing crafts and getting worn out in the pool just in time for naps. Her deep love for her husband, children and grandchildren was the driver for how she spent her time and lived her life.
Judy had many close friends and those of them reading this will know who you are. She enjoyed playing cards with the girls. She adored her Renovaire group. She cared deeply for you and your families and the time that she spent having coffee, eating lunch, playing cards, or simply visiting, was her joy. You know that she was continually in your corner, listening, laughing and giving advice.
Finally, Judy was a deacon at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church in Thousand Oaks and countless people in the congregation will know of the impact she had on them. She prayed for you, studied the Bible with you and met many specific needs that you and your families may have had through her continual involvement with the congregation. We rejoice that she is now with her Lord and Savior Jesus, but Emmanuel, her friends and family feel deeply the gap she left in our lives and we miss her.
