  local newspaper Mason H. Howard, 81, of Frankfort died Wesnesday morning at Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital, Frankfort. The son of the late John and Luth (Hunt) Howard, he was born in Blaine Township, Benzie County, on June 29, 1896. Mr. Howard, who had the Chevrolet dealership in Frankfort for many years before he retired, was a member of First Congregational Church of Frankfort and a life member of Crystal Lodge 270, F&AM. He is survived by his widow, Neta; a brother, Wilmer of Arcadia; and a sister, Ethel Murray of Frankfort. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Walter; and an infant sister.
