Haskell died June 2, 1902 (death cert enclosed) John married Josephine Morgan February 4, 1880 (certificate enclosed) Testimony of Charlotte Mahala French Arnold states that she was married to John H. Haskell by a J. P. in Syracuse. She had a son Rosswell by John. She has no record of the marriage or of a divorce, no recollection of the dates. The reviewer of the testimony described her as ignorant, deaf, and did not want to testify. Testimony of Roswell Haskell gives his birthdate as October 22, 1863. He states that his parents lived together until he was 6 or 7 years old. Testimony of John H. Haskell does not include a marriage to Charlotte Mahala French. States he married Almeda J. Burrs, Almeda died September 1877 at or near Jordan, New York. Child James H. Haskell, by Almeda, born December 21, 1855 still living 1898. States that he has son Arthur W. Haskell, by Josephine, born July 22, 1883. Testimony of Charles H. French says John and his sister were married at a J.P. and showed the license when they came to their house. He was 16/17 years old at the time. He further testified that he did not think that Roswell Haskell was the son of John.
