Roger E. "Buzz" Hale, 79, of Beloit, Wi, died Sunday, October 9, 2011 at his home. Mr. Hale was born on February 19, 1932 in Janesville, Wi, son of the late Raymond and Florence (Bradford) Hale. He married Shirley Green on October 25, 1969.
He was a member of the Beloit Moose for nearly 50 years. He served in the Army and fought in the Korean War. He retired from the Rockton Bus Company in Rockton, IL, 18 years ago.
He is survived by his two sons, Jim Hale (Barb Albrecht) of Beloit and Steve (Sarah) Hale of Oak Creek, WI. One step-son Pete Demus (Anne Bua) of Clinton, WI. Two step-daughters: Judy (Dave) Flick of Houston, TX. Sherrie (Mark) Bunker of Marshfield, WI; 14 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; a sister Phyllis Van Galder of Janesville, WI.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Hale, 2 step-sons Mike Demus and Billy Demus; a sister Evelyn Adams; and 5 brothers: Kenneth, Gordon, Robert, Raymond and Cliff Hale.
