  Local newspaper Vera M. Shaver, Mayville, died Friday July 2, 1999. She was 84. She was born February 5, 1915 in Dayton Twp. to Horace and Grace (Hodges) Clement. Vera married Cecil AShaver December 14, 1935 in Mayville and he predeceased her on December 19, 1996. Mrs. Shaver was a homemaker and also worked for Total Oil Company, Imlay City as a secratary. She attended Fostoria First Baptist Church of Fostoria. She enjoyed to knit, crochet, embroidery and reading. She is survived by one son, Eussel Shaver of Mayville; two sisters, Wanda and husband John Burns of Cass City, Alice Rock of Cape Coral, FL; four grandchildren, Brent, Wendy, Tina, Rhonda and nine great-grandchildren.
