  Find-a-Grave Howard, 83, of Fowlerville, died Friday, at home. He was born to William Arthur "Shorty" and Amy (Johnson) Dorrance and married Waneta R. Klein on June 19, 1948. They celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary last week. He was a member of Fowlerville First United Methodist Church, the Odd Fellows and had been a member of Fowlerville Rotary. He worked as a farmer, at Byerly's Store, Curtis Grocery, owned Howard's Market for 17 years, he and Waneta owned Waneta's Diner and he retired as Manager of the Village of Fowlerville. After retirement, he worked for First National Bank for many years. Surviving are his wife: Waneta, daughter: Nanci (Calvin) Forster of Byron, 3 grandchildren: Evan Forster, Jessica Schliska and Nicole Spicer, 2 brothers: George & Bob. He was preceded in death by his son: Ken and brother: Harold.
