BINGHAM - Dorothy E. Tibbetts, 97, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2012, at Somerset Rehabilitation and Living Center in Bingham, where she had been a resident for the past four years.
She was born Dec. 25, 1914, in Garland, to Charles and Una (Parker) McDonald.
Dorothy moved to Bingham as a teenager and graduated from Bingham High School with the class of 1935. She had worked at the Shank Mill and Quimby Veneer Mill in Bingham.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Keith A. Tibbetts; her brothers, Clayton, Erwin and Leon McDonald; and her sisters, Esther Rowe and Laurel Atwood.
She is survived by her daughter, Juanita (Tibbetts) McAllister, and her husband, Jeffery, of Bingham; her grandchildren, Amy (McAllister) Saucier, of Clinton, and Kevin McAllister, of South Thomaston; and her great-grandchildren, Chelsea and Brook Saucier.
