Born in Grand Forks, ND to Kenneth and Jeanne Erickson. In 1961 Patty and her family moved to Walker, MN where she graduated from Walker High School. Patty attended St. Cloud School of Business. Following graduation she began her brokerage career at Clark Dodge & Co. before joining Bache & Co. eventually purchased by Wachovia Securities where she retired from in Feb. 2005. On March 24, 1979 she married Robert J. Barry Jr. Patty was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth L. Erickson; and infant niece, Tammy Jo Langerud. Survived by husband, Robert J. Barry Jr., Eden Prairie, MN; mother, Jeanne E. Erickson, Brainerd, MN; sisters, Karen (John) Langerud, Linda (Pat) Taillefer, Bloomington, MN, Judy (Ron) Carlson, Wadena, MN; nieces, Heidi (Bob) Bowman and son Alex, Otsego, MN, Aimee (Mick) Cermak, Maple Grove, MN; nephews, Cory (Julie) Langerud and daughters Ellen & Cori, Richfield, MN, Joe (Mary) Langerud, Bloomington, MN, Jeremy (Michelle) Langerud, Des Moines, IA, Jonny Langerud, Bloomington, MN, Ryan Carlson, Maple Grove, MN, Eric (Shelly) Carlson, Ramsey, MN; and many relatives and friends.
