SOUTH PARIS - Stephen A. Paul, 69, of South Paris, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at his residence. Stephen was born in Norway on Sept. 9, 1946, the son of Frederick Paul and Bernice (Parsons) Paul.
He attended Norway schools and graduated from Oxford Hills High School. For many years he worked at Wilner Wood Products until it's closing and then sold wood from his wood lots he owned. Stephen enjoyed cutting firewood, his beloved dogs, Peppy I and Peppy II, and going to many church dinners. He served his country in the US Army National Guard during the Vietnam War and lived in South Paris his entire life.
He is survived by two sons, Jeremy and his wife, Jennifer of South Paris, and Daniel and his companion, Aime Fillds of West Paris, his daughter, Jennifer Shurak and her husband, Kenneth of Skowhegan; his sister, Cynthia Curtis and her husband, Larry of South Paris; and five grandchildren, Kimberly Paul, Savannah Shurak, Zach Tewksbury, Sterling Paul, Scarlett Paul.
