  Rockton Herald January 26, 1967 Miss Frances Robinson Meech, 78, of 1933 Huffman Blvd., Rockford, died Jan. 16, 1967 in Rockford Memorial hospital. She was a former Beloit Business woman. She had made her home in Rockford the past 15 years. She was born Nov. 16, 1888 in Rockton township, the daughter of Samuel Byron and [Eva] Marsh Meech. She was a member of the Congregational church and the DAR. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Ralph Pope of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two nieces, Mrs. Ralph Arnold, Mrs. Don Rumage; and one nephew, Byron Meech, all of Beloit, Wis. S he was predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Ralph in 1953 and Lloyd in 1964, and brother-in-law, Ralph Pope in 1965.
