Donald D. Stowell Donald D. Stowell, 75, of Everett, died February 9, 2003 in a local nursing home.
He was born November 8, 1927 in Cashmere, WA.
He was a former resident of Texas, returning to Everett 12 years ago, following his retirement. Donald graduated from Everett High School in 1946 and WSU in 1962. He worked for the U.S. Treasury Department as a Customs Agent and then transferred to the Justice Department and the D.E.A., retiring in 1982. He was a Marine Corps Veteran of WWII and Korea and a member of the Marine Corps League, V.F.W., and Alpha Phi Sigma, the National Criminal Justice Society.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Helen J. Stowell; daughters and sons-in-law, Jan and Harold Hoggard of San Antonio, TX, Cheri and John Misich of Snohomish, Gayle and Michael Johnson of Seattle, and Deanne and Ken Rimes of Savannah, GA; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; nephew Geoff Case and wife Christy; and other special nieces and nephews.
