Born in Wenatchee to Gerald and Irene (Stawell) Churchill, he graduated from Seattle's Roosevelt high school in 1944. Following service in the Army, Jerry went on to graduate from the University of Washington, and further schooling at Seattle University led to a career in teaching for the Everett school district. During the course of his life, Jerry was a member of the SAE Fraternity, the Elks Club, Everett Yacht Club, Penguin Ski Club, and the Roosevelt Golden Grads. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; sons, Jon and Brian; grandson, Ian (and Brandy); and great-grandaughter, Sofie.
