  Connecticut Post (Bridgeport, CT) March 7, 2007 Arthur W. Samuelson Sr. M.D. of Stratford formally of Fairfield, died Sunday March 4, 2007 in his residence. Dr. Samuelson was born in Bridgeport and was an area resident all of his life. He was the retired Chief of ENT Surgery at Bridgeport Hospital. He was a graduate of Bassick High School where he was the Valedictorian, graduate of Yale University and Tufts Medical School. He was a member of the Board of Directors for the Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing, the Rehabilitation Center. He also was the past Comm odor for the Black Rock Yacht Club, also a member of the Contemporary Club, the Patterson Club, and the Fair weather Yacht Club. He was a U.S. Veteran. He was predeceased by his wife Polly Brown his sister Dorothy Samuelson Mair died also on Sunday March 4, 2007. Survivors include two sons, Richard B. Samuelson, of Concord N.H., and Arthur W. Samuelson Jr. of Seymour; a daughter Leslie A. Samuelson, of Milford Michigan; five grandchildren, John H. Faett IV and Christopher and Daniel G. Faett, Richard H. and Margo A. Samuelson; two great-grandchildren, Sophia and Sara Bowman.
