  Watertown Daily Times (NY) May 1, 1991 Maynard J. Hartson, 89, Brasher Falls, died Monday evening at Massena Memorial Hospital, Massena. Surviving are three sons, Carlton, St. Regis Falls, Malcolm, South Colton, and Charles, Winthrop; a daughter, Ruth Garvey, Winthrop; 23 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two half-brothers, Lloyd and Peter Goodrich, both of Massena; a sister, Vivian Eagles, Massena, and several nephews and nieces. Two sons, Clyde and Clayton, five brothers, Cecil, Lyle, Kermit, Rupert and John, and a sister, Beulah, Russell, died before him. Born in Moira on Dec. 26, 1901, a son of Charles and Edith Shatraw-Goodrich Hartson, he attended Moira schools. A marriage to Clara Tower ended in separation in 1941. Mr. Hartson was employed with Curtis Wright, Buffalo, Alcoa, Massena, Bethlehem Steel, Lackawanna and later owned and operated Hartson's Landscaping until his retirement.
