  North Country Now (Potsdam, NY) July 18, 2012 Corinne C. Prior, 98, passed away peacefully, Monday, July 16, 2012 at Massena Memorial Hospital. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthop. Corinne was born in Hopkinton on August 20, 1913, daughter of the late Charles and Carrie (Bacon) Clough. She married Leonard J. Prior on May 16, 1965 at the Brasher Falls United Methodist Church with Rev. Cameron officiating. Mr. Prior died September 19, 1984. Corinne was employed at the Registrar's Office at Clarkson College; at ALCOA in the 1940's in the Office of Superintendant of Remelt; at Sid G. Spear Insurance Office in Malone; then as a civilian with the Dept. of the Navy in Massena and then transferred to the US Army Corps of Engineers until the completion of the Seaway in 1959; then she was employed at St. Lawrence Central School until the time of her marriage. She was also predeceased by one brother, Wayne Clough in June of 1966.
