Diane Lee Rieck, 78, of Cheyenne passed away Jan. 1 surrounded by family.
Diane was born June 6, 1941, in Whittier, Calif., to James and Leora (Winkleman) Hoylman. She graduated from high school in North Platte, Neb., joined the U.S. Army and served her country as a medical specialist.
Diane was married to Delaine Rieck on March 28, 1962, in North Platte. She was a homemaker and lived in several locations, including Nebraska, Colorado, Texas, Indiana, Missouri and Alaska. She moved to Cheyenne in 2008 to be near her children.
Surviving her are daughters, Darcy (Jim) Rosales (Rapid City, S.D.), Dana Rieck (Cheyenne) and DeAnna (Kim Bolen) Rieck (Cheyenne); son, Dustin Rieck (Cheyenne); brother, James Hoylman (Palmer, Alaska); sisters-in-law, Margie Rieck (Elkhorn, Neb.), Dorothy Young (Albion, Neb.) and Betty Chvatal (Colon, Neb.); grandchildren, Matthew, Lindsey, John, Katey and Jamey Rosales, Courtney (Landon) Hawkins and Dylan Rieck; and great-grandchildren, Ethan and Miley Hawkins, and Molley Rosales.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Leora Hoylman; brother, John Hoylman; sister, Roberta Newton; and former husband, Delaine Rieck.
