  The Gazette (Cedar Rapids-Iowa City, IA) January 6, 1999 Fred T. Robidoux, 66, of 1223 Lilly St. SE, died Monday, Jan. 4, 1999, in his home after a long illness. Burial: Campbell Cemetery, Bertram. Survivors include his wife, Beth; four sons, Walt and wife Judy of Rock Falls, Ill., Benjamin and wife Tammy of Cedar Rapids, Kenneth and wife Tylin of Manchester and Joseph and wife Candace of Marion; a sister, Georgia Candler of Council Bluffs; 10 grandchildren; a stepgranddaughter; and two nephews, James White of Manassas, Va., and Larry White of Omaha, Neb. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Fred Jr.; a brother, George Jr; and a sister, Clara Foote. Fred was born May 28, 1932, the son of George and Margaret Bethers Robidoux in Council Bluffs, Iowa. On June 9, 1956, he married Beth Wood in Lisbon, Iowa. He was a millwright for more than 20 years for Local 2158 of Moline, retiring in 1991. He was a member of Local 2158 and a past member of National Rifle Association.
