  True Republican July 14, 1934 Funeral services for Mrs. Herbert G. Lloyd, 65, of Chicago, who passed away at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, were conducted from the late home at 7214 Sheridan Road at 10:30 o'clock this Friday morning. Interment was to be in Elmwood cemetery at Sycamore this afternoon. Effie Preston was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Preston, natives of Sycamore community. She was united in marriage when a young woman here to Herbert G. Lloyd of Sycamore. To that union four children were born, including Charles Herbert, Thomas, Eloise and Lorraine. Three grandchildren, children of Charles Herbert, also survive. The decedent was a member of the Rogers Park Congregational church and was well known and revered by all. Her countless friends in Chicago and Sycamore are grieved to learn of her passing. Mrs. Lloyd was a sister-in-law of Louis, Frank and Charles Lloyd of Sycamore.
