  Courier News (Elgin, IL) October 7, 2011 Jones, Loren M. 85, of Burlington, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2011 in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. He was born July 7, 1926 in Sycamore the son of Knill and Myrle (Lloyd) Jones. He was a 1944 graduate of Burlington High School. Loren married Patricia A. Factly on June 26, 1947 at the old St. John Lutheran Church in Burlington. Loren was a lifelong farmer in the Burlington area. He had also been employed by the State of Illinois and later the Elgin Beverage Co. He loved being with his grandchildren and had recently moved to Reedsburg to be near them. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Patricia; his daughter, Dana (Howard) Engel of Reedsburg, WI; grandchildren, Ryan (Jessica) Engel and Barry (Heather) Engel both of Reedsburg, WI; great-grandchildren, Jenna, Kaylee, Jase, Olivia and Lily; brother, Harold Jones; and sisters-in-law, Glenna Schairer and Romelle (Bob) Ostrom. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Lloyd Jones.
