  The Arizona Republic April. 29, 2008 On Thursday April 24th, at the age of 61, Janet Ketter passed away surrounded by her loving family. Remaining to forever cherish Janet's memory are her devoted husband of 42 years, Richard Ketter. Her mother Wilma Payne, 2 children, Gregory Ketter (wife Gina), Lori Piper (husband Bruce) and 4 grandchildren. Fabiola, Christopher, Scott and Blake. She was preceded in death by her father Ralph Payne. Janet was born in Mt. Vernon, Ohio on December 3, 1946. She met and married Richard there and in 1980 relocated to Mesa, Arizona. In no time at all they were proud to call the Valley home. While Janet enjoyed her career at Post Newsweek Cable, her true passion was always her family. Her children and grandchildren meant everything to her. Janet's kind and giving spirit touched many lives and her memory will be forever in our hearts.
