  Bangor Daily News July 3, 1979 Eddington - George Roland Adams, 88, died July 2m 1797, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Esther (Page) Adams. He was born in Bangor Dec. 27, 1890, the son of George F. and Dora (Mathison) Adams. He was a veteran of World Wat I, a member of the North Brewer-Eddington Methodist Church. He recently received a 70 year seal as a member of the Riverside Grange of North Brewer. He is survived by two sons, George R. Adams Jr. of Hampden and Philip L. Adams of Eddingtom; pne daughter, Mrs. Arlene Hamilton of Huntington Beach, Calif.; one brother, Earl R. Adams of Eddington; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
