  Worcester Telegram & Gazette (MA) April 5, 1996 WORCESTER - Ruth E. (Ellison) Johnson, 75, formerly of 26 Channing St., died yesterday in Sandalwood Nursing Center, Oxford, after a long illness. Her husband, Paul H. Johnson, died in 1986. She leaves a son, Larry P. Johnson; a daughter, Patricia A. Madaio, both of Oxford; two brothers, Stewart Ellison of New Durham, N.H., and Curtis Ellison of South Yarmouth; a sister, Grace M. Lee of Deerfield, Ill.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A son, Paul E. Johnson of Worcester, died in 1994. She was born in Hopedale, daughter of Arthur and Carrie (Cromb) Ellison. She lived here 50 years before moving recently to Oxford. She graduated from Mendon High School. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and the Rebekahs.
