  Portland Press Herald (ME) May 15, 2015 WESTBROOK - June W. Andresen, 94, died on May 14, 2015, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, with her family by her side. She was born in Boston, Mass., on Dec. 31, 1920, the daughter of August and Madelyn (Haskell) Webel. June was a 1940 graduate of Goodwill High School in Hinckley. After high school, she attended CMMC School of Nursing in Lewiston. June was a homemaker, but also worked for many years as a LPN in Laconia, N.H., Camden, California, and at Dolly Farm in Westbrook. While in California, June assisted with the care of her daughter's home and children, while she also worked. June was a member of the Christian Women's Club in California and in Portland, and a member of the South Gorham Baptist Church. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed gardening, birds, cats, nature, and walking. June is survived by her daughters, Sigrid Andresen Robins and husband Richard of Gorham, Hazel Anderson and husband Paul of Palmer, Mass., son Douglas Andresen and wife Ruth of Gardiner; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sister Alice Fowlie of Glen Cove. In addition to her parents, June was predeceased by her husband, Walter W. Andresen in 1970; a grandson, Jonathan Heckman; and brother, James Caven.
