  Maine Sunday Telegram (Portland, ME) December 26, 1999 Linnie Beth Eaton Putnam, 89, died Wednesday at Camden Health Care Center. Born at Little Deer Isle, she was a daughter of Arthur and Asenath Eaton Eaton. She married G. Sterling Putnam in Rockland on Dec. 31, 1928. In 1949, she and her husband bought Stevenson's Home Made Candy on Main Street in Camden. The couple later moved the business to Route One in Rockport, naming it Putnam's Candy Kitchen. They retired in 1970. Mrs. Putnam was a member of West Rockport Baptist Church. She and her husband also were members of the Good SAM Club. Her husband died on March 24, 1990. Surviving are a son, Paul B. Putnam of Camden; three grandchildren, Alan Putnam of Rockport, Vicki Fletcher of West Rockport and Valorie Leaman of North Branford, Conn.; six great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandso
