  Portland Press Herald (ME) December 26, 1995 Helen G. Keenan Gray, 81, of Hampshire Road died Sunday at the Seaside Nursing Home in Portland following a long illness. She was born in Stonington, a daughter of Dennis M. and Lillian Knowlton Eaton. She attended Stonington schools and graduated from Stonington High School. Mrs. Gray worked many years as a cook, at the George Shaw Store in Portland and Nissen Bakery. She also worked several years as a pastry cook at the Shawmut Inn and other area hotels. She was a member of the Mt. Etna Grange in Hiram and the Senior Citizens of West Baldwin. She enjoyed playing beano, braiding rugs and making patchwork quilts. Her first husband, Frank Keenan, died in 1961. She was predeceased also by her second husband, Clifford Gray. She had been making her home for the past year and a half with her son, Charlie Keenan of Limington. Surviving besides her son are eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
