  local newspaper David 'DeDe' L. McCorkle, 47, of Napoleon, died Tuesday evening, July 13, 2004, at the Toledo Hospital. Born Jan. 16, 1957, at Napoleon, he was the son of Ethel (Thornton) and Robert L. McCorkle Sr. A resident of the Filling Memorial Home of Mercy, Napoleon, since 1991, he had worked at Quadco Rehabilitation Center, Stryker, for several years. Involved in the Henry County Special Olympics and the Henry County Special Olympics Bowling, he was a medalist at the Ohio State Special Olympics in track. In additionto his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Michael C. McCorkle and Robert L. (and wife, Sharon) McCorkle, both of Napoleon, and a foster brother, Gary L.
