  Bangor Daily News (ME) August 29, 2015 PITTSFIELD - Pauline B. Nichols, 90, died peacefully on Friday, August 28, in Pittsfield. She was born on December 7, 1924, in Deer Isle, the daughter of the late Theodore and Marion (Saunders) Eaton. She graduated from Sedgwick High School with the class of 1942. She worked from 1968-1990 at the Edwards Company in Pittsfield. Polly was known to be a practical jokester. She was very social and enjoyed her handle "Moped Lady" on the C.B. for many years. She was always baking and inviting others in to share in her cooking. She was a past Sunday School Teacher and Girl Scout and Brownie Leader. She was also a past member of the Sebasticook Club in Pittsfield. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Edward Nichols of Pittsfield; daughters, Brenda Seekins and husband, Steve, of Hartland, Joleen Booth and husband, Robert, of Lisbon Falls and Janet Quint of Pittsfield; son-in-law, Thomas Quint of Pittsfield; grandchildren, Stephanie Floyd and husband, Jon, Spencer Seekins and wife, Cathy, Shelby Maloon, Ryan Craig and wife, Kate, Addie Woodbury and husband, Robert, Arlo Quint and wife, Christa, Tyson Quint and wife, Megan, and Amber Quint, who was very special to her grandmother, and her companion, Wayne Trafton; 11 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sister, Oleitta MacKinnon of West Rockport and Zephyrhills, Florida; brother, Milton Eaton and wife, Elinor, of Rockland; several nieces and nephews; and her special grand dog, Buster. She was predeceased by her parents; and sister, Joyce Jameson.
