  Frederick News-Post September 5, 2016 Earl L. Moore, 74, of Dickerson, MD, died peacefully on September 4, 2016 at his residence. He was the husband of 53 years of Suzanne Bodmer Moore. Born on November 4, 1941, in Poolesville, MD, he was the son of the late Alvin and Elizabeth (Titus) Moore. Earl joined Upper Montgomery County Volunteer Fire Department in 1959 and started his professional firefighting career with Rockville in 1963. He rose through the ranks and retired as a lieutenant in 1992 with the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service. Earl continued his service as volunteer chief with Upper Montgomery from 1998 until 2012. Besides the fire service, Earl loved hunting and fishing. Surviving besides his wife are two brothers and two sisters, George Moore, Linda Barrack, Ralph Moore and Diane Shelton. He was preceded in death by one brother, Alvin Moore and one sister, Suanne Demory.
