Survivors include her husband, Conrad M. Phelps; four sons, David C. Phelps of Sparta, Ill., Randy M. Phelps of Lenzburg, Ill., Larry G. Phelps of Keller, Texas, and Jerry W. Phelps of Marissa, Ill.; six daughters, Tammy Lou Dressel, Robin Baima, both of Collinsville, Ill., Linda G. Smith, Connie J. Rhein, Genevieve Phelps, all of Marissa, and Suzanna Phelps of Belleville, Ill.; 20 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Lucille Long of Lafayette, Ind., Patsy Doss of Marissa, Rosemary Morris of Killbruck, Ohio, and Genny Lou Erb of Marissa.
