  The Republican (Springfield, MA) March 30, 2004 WARE - Enid M. (Lloyd) Hitchcock, 89, of West St., died Saturday at Sunbridge Care & Rehabilitation for Hadley, after a brief illness. She was born in Wheelwright, December 4, 1914, daughter of the late Oscar and Maude (Richards) Lloyd. She grew up in Rutland and attended Rutland High School before moving to Salem, MA, where she graduated from Salem High School in 1931. She was a star forward on the girls basketball teams at Rutland and Salem. Enid was married to Stanley H. Hitchcock who died in 1963. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Mary Hitchcock of Palmer; her daughter, Elaine Hitchcock of Belchertown; two granddaughters, Lisa Aubin of Ware and Lynn Mayotte of Brimfield; a grandson, Glen Hitchcock of Palmer; a great-grandson, Nathan Mayotte; and a great granddaughter, Grace Hitchcock.
