Jeanne T. Walsh, 80, of Scituate, died Sept. 1, 2008, at her home, following a brief illness, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Memphis, Tenn., the daughter of the late Viola and Lauristen Tyler. She was a graduate of Brunswick High School, Brunswick, Maine.
Mrs. Walsh was devoted to her family. She worked on the Guild at St. Luke's in Scituate for 20 years, and loved to garden and swim.
Wife of the late R. William Walsh, she leaves four daughters, Laurie Walsh of Cohasset, Leslie Wickfield of Groton, Tyler Wheeler of Carver and Stephanie St. John of Cohasset; her sister, Shirley Foss of Newburg, Ore., her sister-in-law, Stella Walsh of Portland, Maine; her daughter-in-law, Marilyn Walsh of Hingham; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Russell W. Walsh Jr.
