  Find-a-Grave STONINGTON- Manford Calvin Eaton, age 94, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at the Island Nursing Home in Deer Isle, ME. He was born in Little Deer Isle, ME on August 5, 1920, the son of the late Wilmont Hardy and Mattie (Herrick) Eaton. Manford was a skilled welder and even worked on the 75 year old Deer Isle Bridge. He spent most of his career as a commercial fisherman. He loved his family very much and always had a chocolate peanut butter candy in hand, but only for himself. Survivors include his two sons- Manford F. Eaton and wife, Helen of Stonington, ME ; Ronald Eaton and wife, Belinda of Stonington, ME and several beloved grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Lillian O. (Nevells) Eaton, his son, Calvin Eaton, and by both of his parents.
