  Find-a-Grave NEW BEDFORD -- Harry H. Hathaway, 79, of New Bedford died Friday, April 2, 2004, at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness. He was the husband of Florianna (Bonneau) Hathaway. Born in Wareham, the son of the late Ira F. and Lena (Hudson) Hathaway, he lived most of his life in New Bedford. He was a communicant of St. Anthony Church. Mr. Hathaway was a maintenance man for C.E. Beckman Co. until his retirement. Survivors include his widow; a sister, Mabel Tavano of New Bedford; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Gladys Sherman, Luella Sylvia, Beatrice Hathaway, Evelyn Hathaway and Rose St. Germain.
