John Arethus (Buss) Haskell, 55, died Wednesday morning at a local hostival after a long illness. He lived at 519 Soujth 19th street.
Born in Maysville, Mo. he had lived in St. Josepj 21 years. He was in the shhep-kill department of Armour & Co., until he became ill. He was a member of St. Francis Baptist Temple and belonged to Keystone Lodge F & A.M.
Mr, Haskell is survived by his wife, Mrs, Madeline Haskell of the home; a son John Arthur Haskell Jr., Chanute Air Force Base, Rantoul, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Turner, St. Joseph; two sisters, Mrs. Allie Lee Armstrong, St. Joseph, and Mrs. Ruby Pennell, Highland Kan,. and three grandchildren.
