She was born on May 5, 1946 in Chama, Colorado to Presentacion and Ernestine Lobato. Ernestine was a long time resident of Colorado Springs and found great pleasure in caring for her children and grandchildren. She was an amazing cook, an aggressive Bingo player, and loved to laugh. Most importantly, she had a beautiful servant's heart and found much strength in her Catholic faith. Ernestine was a prayer warrior, and we will carry her legacy of love and faith until we see her again. She is survived by daughters: Janice (Mark) Foster, Peggy (Ted) Corsi, and Amanda (Gordon) Harrell; and her 10 grandchildren, both those born to her and those she claimed. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Gary; brothers: Carlos, Bonnie, and Jose; and her sister, Eva.
