  The Post-Star (Glens Falls, NY) October 2, 2015 NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. | Theresa M. Herron, 67, of New Port Richey, passed away June 30, 2015, in New Port Richey, Fla. after a courageous battle with COPD. She was born April 16, 1948 in Rutland, Vermont and was the daughter of the late Theodore McKeighan and Florence (White) Hanehan. Theresa enjoyed cooking, crafts and spending quality time with her family. In addition to her parents, Theresa was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Raymond Herron in 2005, who was retired from the U.S. Navy; a sister, Diane Garcia; a brother, Theodore (Mickey) McKeighan, Jr. She is survived by her children, Scott (April) McKeighan of Salem, Doug (Peggy) Wood of Schuylerville and Carla Class of New Port Richey, Florida. She is also survived by her siblings, Carol (Chuck) Kind of Great Falls, Montana, Marilyn Dumas of Cossayuna and Teddie Woodard of Schuylerville; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
